Why Sponsor GYBA?
Georgetown Youth Baseball Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit youth baseball organization that operates entirely through the efforts of our GYBA board, GYBA family, and our community. SPONSORSHIP is a vital part of Georgetown Youth Baseball Association. The funds donated by sponsors facilitate scholarships for players, purchase of uniforms, equipment, aid with facilities /field maintenance, pays umpires, funds ALL STAR teams, and the list goes on and on. Georgetown Youth Baseball Association receives ZERO funding from the City of Georgetown, TX, Georgetown Parks & Recreation, or the State of Texas.
GYBA fields and facilities are over 60 years old and sadly it shows. With the continued growth of Georgetown and the surrounding areas we expect registration to continue to climb and GYBA wants to be ready to facilitate that growth by providing safe and functional fields, concession stands, bath rooms, pavilions, and more.
Sponsorship funding is vital to maintain and update all 7 fields, facilities, concession stands, backstops, scoreboards, and field lights. The electric bill for GYBA easily reaches $20k+ per year, water utility reaches $12K+ annually, and field and facility maintenance climbs well beyond $20K for standard year around field care and facility repair. GYBA begins each year with over $50K in costs and that doesn’t include paying our beloved umpires a competitive wage, equipment for players like face masks, catching gear, tees, and baseballs, nor does it include the rising cost of insurance, CPAs, administrative costs, and player scholarships. Essentially, without major sponsors the cost gets passed to our players with increased registration fees – THAT IS NOT – what GYBA wants to happen.

GYBA has an amazing sponsorship team consisting of two directors and a committee that organizes fundraisers, sponsorship packets, team sponsors, and league promotion.
